Anyone? I'm trying to decide between it and a crossfire 70/45, and I need something to justify the $150 premium

Well, I know THAT
What Im more interested in is weight. Im 6'3" 240 lbs, so its not like I cant handle the weight, but a lighter gun is easier to handle and move. From what Ive been able to gather, the flatline may weight close to a pound less than the crossfire, but I have found absolutely no specs on the weight anywhere.

And THIS is why I'll probably end up buying the crossfire. At least I can get some specs on it.

I'd end up rocking the crossfire with a cp rail and on/off..but well..I'm biased...

well i got a crossfire and it doesnt keep up with my pure energy tank. i know its hard to beleive but my pure energy is much more consistant. but that is just me.

what makes you think it isn't as consistent? fps deviation? I'm not saying the PE isn't better but you've been on AO long enough not to just spout something like that without actually giving something to back it up...

I doubt the crossfire is inferior to the PE. Crossfire has a rock solid reputation. I have two crossfires right now, and they kick butt. I've had my viking above 20 bps, and there was ZERO shootdown, excellent flow.
But I thought the crossfire reg was plated brass, not aluminum? At least, thats what mine looks like. And my new 45/45 plated one weighs the same as my old brass 68/3000. I got the weight for the crossfire from an old post Shartley put up, I cant find it right now.
I'm willing to pay the extra for the weight reduction, but if I cant get exact answers I'll just go with the crossfire. There have been too many issues with flatline reg seats and flow issues for me to buy it for any reason other than weight and looks (it looks sleek).
