    Retro Valve and X-Valve questions

    well,
    the time has come to build my mag, well actually starting this summer, and i need to know what kind of valve I should get. I know the X-valve is what everyone will sat but I just don't have the funds to get an X. So I am shooting for he Retro valve. But I need to know, is the retro valve legal in tourny's?

      ok, first, the retro is no longer produced. it has been replaced by the X.

      the X, is the same valve internally; same guts, only it has a level 10 kit in it. it is also made of aluminum. other then the level 10 and the material it is made from; they work the same way.

      unless you can get a retro for a super cheap price, just get the X, as you'll have to/want to get level 10 anyways.

      as for legal; i don't know, but if the retro isn't, then neither is the X, and you're left using a classic/mini valve for your setup.

              yes its legal as long as the ref at the chrono range can't sweetspot it. but if ur not playing tourney ball its a ok
