Egg Shell compatibility

Hey, got a Q: Are there any differences between Egg 1 and Egg 2 shells? I ask since I found egg shells for cheap, and don't know if they will fit my egg 2.

Egg 1 shells are NOT going to fit your Egg 2.

Angle of the feed neck mainly though I'm sure there will be a couple more differences...can't help you on shells as I don't know your stores.

Hmm, maybe a dremel can cure these diffs.. And the angle of the feedneck looks the same, just the clear inner tube..

888 paintball has egg 2 shells for $5.88 each half.

Yes just buy the Egg2 shells, Eggs were discontinued for multiple reasons, one being the shells. They are a bit uglier also, have that logo with the eyes and all, weird angle, eeks.

Yea, I saw the shells at 888Paintball, but that's why I was asking since I think they are for the egg 1.

But was the reason durability? I thought it was just because of the jamming issue.

Anyone know where I could get them for less than 10 bucks a side? I need both sides and the lid, and am not too keen on spending almost 30 bucks on just shells when I could just buy an entire hopper for 50 bucks used.
