    Curious about E-Mag charger

I currently have a wall outlet charger for my E-Mag. My question is do they make ones for your car? I'd like to have one of each incase of the situation I forget to charge the battery the night before the day of play.

I would love to have a wall charger, instead of the car charger - does AGD sell the wall transformer?

I don't know. I got my E-Mag through a trade deal and it came with a wall charger. Much more convienant but I would still like both just incase. I'll check out the store.

Change in subject about OEM chargers.
Are you familar with radio controlled car chargers?
Having done some research on the type of battries used I can make a guess that you could fast charge NiMh safely.
I have a FMA Supernova that can do personal battery setups with peak charge detection and also give you detailed feedback about your batteries performance.
Do a search about these great chargers and you can see why they are raved about.

I just checked the store and could not find it. If anyone has the wall charger, please let us know the power rating. Hopefully we can find a replacement at RadioShack or other electronics store.

Rancid - can I call you Rancid? - check your charger. You might find that the part on the wall outlet is just a transformer from 110AC to 12VDC. The part that actually goes on the battery probably has a plug that takes 12VDC from a variety of sources, like the cord that sps16 pointed out. Does the cord from the wall unit unplug from the part that fits on the battery?

Radio Shack has a wall plug adapter for auto plugs. I use mine with good effect.

Yes, I know it's only 1000ma, and 1500ma is better, but this one is very handy and does the job. I still get 20,000+ shots from a charge.

Ya, call me anything you like, just be sure I'll know it me your talking to

Ya it does unplug from the charger. And it charges up in about an hour, not sure if thats fast or normal. Is there a chance I'm not getting complete charges?

                      Hmmmm, now I'm worried

But so far it has yet to die on me in three trips (recharge between each of course).

Whoops, my bad. I thought you meant the wall charger. What king of output do I look for when buying a wall adapter plug? I'm guessing that since the car adapter is 12volts, the wall adapter should be aroung 12volts. But what about the amps?

i believe that the battery runs at 18.8 volts while a normal charger only does 14.4, which is why you have to buy a special charger
