    What is ULE?

    I am new to the forum, and even though I have read a little about mags becuase I own one, I am confused as to what ULE is.

    Is the XValve ULE? Are there ULE and non-ULE versions of items if I don't want to pay the extra?

      ULE=ultra light engineering
      you could call the xvalve ULE, since it is the lightest version valve

          Welcome to AO LockNLoad!

          All of Wyn's data is dead on.

          Basically you will want to get anything in ULE form that you can if you would like to reduce the weight of your mag. I am not going to say that any non-ULE part is better than any ULE part, because I just don't think it's true.

          So, if it's ULE, go for it
