you should be able to get almost as much as you paid since x-mags are still rare on the open market, at least $1100 for just the marker. if you throw in a tank/hopper/barrel kit/or other upgrades you should be able to get around $1400, at least thats what they are going for on e-bay.

the only problem your going to see is that unless you sell it localy some people in the US wont be so eager to buy with all the customs crap involved in the sale.

mexico city to dallas may be a long drive....but you could come to tex-ball in february and sell it there. arrange the sale here on AO and deliver it at the meet. it would be great to see a team or two from south of the border come up for that event.

Hey Adam,

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking $1,200 USD "as is" (of course I'll include everything that came with it in perfect condition). That ammount should land the cost of the Timmy.
As to travel from here to Dallas it's actually pretty easy (I have an adress in Houston). February, I'll keep that in mind if it does not sell first. Thankfully some X-Mags have sold well here

As to play over there on a toruney, well... we're working on it. It is in our 2004 plans. Time and cash will tell.

tournys are well, tournys...AO events on the other hand, those are quite an experience. check out the tex-bal thread in meet and greet...its gonna be the biggest AO event of the year.

I was able to sell mine for $1200, on ebay. Just the gun CnC in gloss black. Good luck with yours, remember its important to add extra photos and reassure buyers that they are getting something safe from a reliable person (not saying you aren't just with your situation need to make every effort). Anyhow I'm going to be in Mexico from the 23rd to January 3 staying with my family. I'll be in Mexico City for a week at their townhouse, then Veracruz any good places for me to get some walk on action for a day?

my honest opinion after owning both type of marker is if you can't keep them both, keep the x, sell the timmy and get a new team
