You know I'm ready to buy one... How are you going to
handle the rail thickness differences between the AM/MM and
RT Pro/Emag rails for the electro frame? The hyperframe
has to be shaved to work on the RT Pro, will you have
    adjusts for it?

One other question, about my order (raw w/ funky green,
will I be getting the dovetail on it? I assumed I would,
but I guess I never thought about it... It's ok if I'm not.

Have you looked at the frenzy boards for the timmys? I have no size information off hand

That Vaporworks bushy board is small, if we can trim it (think - please, not a multilayer PCB), but they appear to be out of stock, and I haven't been able to get in touch with them either.

So basically, we have not moved one inch farther down this road. One, I might add, which is increasingly covered in broken glass and land mines.

If only we could find one board that was made to fit in a vert frame with a 9v battery and a CF solen.... . . . .

The Hyperframes had to be shaved cause of the v notch that was cut into the tops of them to fit the classic rails.

These will be flat topped, so they will work on either style rail.

We will test to be sure of course, but that is the plan.

As for the guy who just quoted a post from a month ago - We are using the Morlock, it fits all our criteria . . . moving on now.

Also, none of the mech frames in this batch got dovetails, cause I broke my cutter, and the new one was on backorder.

            No worries man.

We'd just been over that one several times, and I don't want the discussion starting up again. lol

coolhand: one of the main reasons i ordered a logic frame was because of the dovetail.

can my order be put on hold until i can get a dovetailed frame?

thanks so much for answering those basic quesions coolhand. that should clear up a lot of questions for the people new to this thread. i will just quote it from now on.
price is still set to around $350 for whoever is asking again.

                    Ah ha, got it.

Thanks for the info about the rail, that makes it much
clearer now... $350? (Sigh, mental note: put aside 50 more
                    dollars)

P.S. You don't have to worry about dovetailing or any such
on mine, I like the lines better without. Now all
I need to do is find someone who does a nice carbon fibre
drop forward (so it's super thin)

They've all gone to ano already.

Anyone who wants the dovetail can send it back in when my tools are delivered.

I will mill them, and ship them back, all free of charge.
It will leave silver where I machine them, but if you are using the rail, it won't show.

                          Sure.

Click the link in my sig to send me an email with your real name in it.

But how does getting a Y-Grip solve the no dovetail problem?

I'm just curious, cause your vert frame will function just fine without the dovetail, if you don't want to send it back in.

I was just failing to see the logic ( Ha pun) at work there.

You could also just have CH not ship your frame until he cuts the dovetails in.

It works great. No need for a drop, so it saves you weight and space. The retrofit cut leaves silver, but it's not visible and doesn't chip the anno (at least not on mine).

I posted a picture of mine with that cut on something like page 26 of the Logic Vert thread in the dealer forum if you're curious as to how it looks.

melster: i did ask for him to hold my order until he could dovetail it.

coolhand: i am willing to wait for awhile, but not forever, plus a y frame was my second choice, thats why. i do greatly prefer the idea of a cut in dovetail, but am hesitant to pay full price for a product that is not complete as i understood it to be when i ordered it, along with the added shipping expense and wait time if i was to send it back to you when you got the bit.

as i said earlier, i am willing to wait say for the next batch after this one until you can cut a dovetail. you can consider mine the first order in that batch if you're willing. i'm sure someone will step up and take the mine from this batch with no dovetail.

i would love to have and proudly display your fine product on my beloved mag.......

                              lmk and thanks!
