ummm coolhand, the morlock board is like 1/3 the size of a CF board, my hyperframe is about to go out to have a morlock board installed because is supports eyes and unlimmited bps cap...but yeah you can mount the morlock sideways in the hyperframeso that it takes up like 1/20th the room of the stock board.
Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

yea, i didnt think it was HUGE either. this is why a little research wouldnt hurt.

Ok i did a little research myself and i found out that the morlock board is about 2" long, 1/2" wide, and 1/5" thick. the thing is TINY. Also it has an intellifeed hookup built in and it supports eyes. If ur already set on the CF board then go with it but i really think this would be the better deal.

The stock CF board is 2.175x0.85x0.475

If those measurements are correct, then the Morlock is ~40% smaller. While its not 20 times smaller, 40% is significant, and could solve many of our fit problems.

I am a big enough man to admit that I had dismissed the Morlock folks out of hand, as I have only seen their EMag boards, which are huge (same as a stock EMag board).

Anyone got a website handy? I can find it myself, but I am kinda lazy, so help is never refused.

Thank you both for the links.

I've already got the manual DL'ed, and an email sent out to set up a dealership.

I'll let you guys know some more when I hear back from them with some tech details.

                    Thanks for enlightening me.

                      Regarding ROF and boards.

The CF board is limited to 20bps, this means it only checks the trigger 20 times a second. So realisticly you arent gonna get near 20bps. The newer boards (WAS, morlock? etc) check the trigger up to 1 million times per second which makes it easier to shoot fast.

Incidentally its not very hard to attach eyes to any electronic marker regardless of the board.
All you do is put a transistor (either NPN or a pair of PNPs) in series with the trigger wires and attach the output of a breakbeam eye to the base of the transistor.
(edit to add you need a 3rd transistor to latch the output of the trigger switch, otherwise it will go full auto)
When the eye detects a ball the transistors (collector emitter) resistance drops and you can fire the gun.
When there is no ball present the trigger signals do not get past the transistor and the gun wont fire.

How much is the Morlock Board in comparison to the CF board?

Would we be able to send in our previously purchased Logic Frames to have the electronics installed? I am getting ready to order a frame but I will wait if I will not be able to send it back in for the upgrade. Thanks.
It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

well i guess my "custom" hyperframe with morlock wont be all that custom for long, but such is life, but what i ment was if you fit the morlock in the board side ways, (its about as wide as a 9vt anyways) it takes up almost NO room. I wish i could take a pic to show what i mean...but my stuff is all boxed up and ready to ship out today.

No. He already answered that question several times in this thread.
