    ULE Warp Body. Why...

    Why was the ball detent installed in the top of the body?

    It would have such beautiful clean lines if it was installed on the side.

    I have wondered the exact same thing. I'm thinking maybe the just rotated the whole feed assembly to the left which brought the detent to the top.

      The ball detent really has to be perpendicular to the direction the ball is entering from for it to work properly. Putting the detent on the bottom wouldn't have really worked, since there's no room on the stock rails to have something protruding from the body there.

        If it was on the other side you'd have to risk the ball actually pushing the detent in and still allowing double feeds. Personally I think it looks smooth and clean already.

          just what potato said... most you can do it shave down your detent so its not as tall
