I was told that tanks classified with a DOT-E and that were Carbon wrapped, were to be upgraded to a 5 year hydro. My Local shop told me this. Were can I get documentation to have it on paper so when I meet a nother fill station and they do not know this?

This actually happened a while back, read this thread at PBNation for more info.2003 SuperBowl Champions!, THE New England Patriots!
He was constantly reminded of how startlingly different a place the world was when viewed from a point only three feet to the left.
My Feedback -
Make sure you read the part about July, 2001. If you have a DOT-E tank manufactured or tested in June 2001 or earlier, it is not a 5-year tank until it's tested.
"Cylinders manufactured or tested after July 1, 2001 must be re-inspected and hydrostatically retested at least once every 5 years."Comment

You can go to:
http://hazmat.dot.gov/exemptions_index.htm
click on your exemption number. The pdf document will indicate if it's a five year or three year hydro.Comment
