    Polished brass! Whoazor!

Well, I have like 7 stock cocker rams and even more 3-ways, all fugly nasty brass. So I decided to fix it. I took some brasso, a few polishing rags, and a buffer wheel, and about 1 hour, and polished the snot out of a 3-way and a ram. The end result...AMAZING! IMO, it looks better than a chrome ram, and I love it! Its VERY shiny, just like gold you know? Its so cool! I will snap some pics when I get a chance.

I will try. I have it on a chrome front block and it contrasts splendidly.

At one point, many "quality" paintball guns were made from brass.

Polished brass looks good...but only for a few months and then it loses it's shine and after about a year, it gets ugly again. I have a SB Piranha that was all polished up about 2 years ago. It looks kinda nasty right now This is why I love Nickle so much, it doesn't do this...

yup...mine is like the one in docs pic, only mine are shinnier. Im gonna have to add some clear coat for maximum blingin. Anyone know where I can get other brass cocker parts BESIDES a 3-way and ram...preferably the LPR.

                        Cphil you boob

I have a pgp that I am going to polish and engrave.

The issue with brass is you have to polish it then clear coat it so it stays in the shiny manner.

If not the oil from the paint and your hands will tarnish it.
