There's nothing inherently dangerous about nitrous. It just has a higher oxygen content than air. As long as you don't shoot your marker near a fire, you should be alright. An expensive fill though.

Yea there is. Its a darn good bit higher and it will enhance flamablilty of anything its around. It is a hazardous Material.

How does nitrous oxide work?
I thought it was a coolant that crammed air into a smaller space (i.e your engine cylinders)

I dont think that a combustion reaction can occur like a double replacement reaction. (N02+C3H8 can't--> H20 + CO2)
