    80 cf Al. @ 3300 or 80 cf Steel @ 3500 ...

What is the max psi on your HPA system? 3000 or 4500?
not that 300/500 will make a huge difference to the small HPA system, considering the fact you'll only get a few "full" fills from either scuba tank - but there is that element of safety involved. As for rust, I'd not worry about it too much; after all, they are S.C.Underwater B.A tanks and they do get a visual, inside & out, inspection every year.

Also, since you're getting one for Christmas, I'm guessing price is no problem ... not sure how much of a difference anyway.

Obviously you'll get a few more good fills from the Steel 3500. AND - check to see if there is a difference in the time period between required hydrostatic testing, my guess is they're both the same @ 5 years, but I could be wrong ... if one is longer, go with that one, will save you about $30 down a while down the road.

I've got 2 3000psi Aluminums, and they're one of the best buys I've ever done. Just make sure if you have to go to a scuba shop to fill/buy them, they know it's for paintball ... legally, they can only sell to licensed scuba people unless they know about the paintball thing

    I'm done babbling now
