AGD thanks for the honest shipping costs

I just ordered my ule rt from the online store and was very happy to see a company actually charge a fair price for shipping. I deal with both freight and ups on a daily basis so i have a good idea of what it costs to get things from point a to point b in x amount of time. Because I am a dork i red labeled my marker to be sent to me and at a cost of only $30 and some change, from other online sites I would most likely be paying around 50 to 75. Just wanted to say thanks Tom and crew it's very refreshing doing business with someone who is not trying to squeeze every last penny out of my pocket.

They squeezed enough if you purchased from the AGD online store.... They can ship at a fair price when they are making an 85% margin on their product

/me wasn't serious with the 85% But you know they turn MAD profit off of anything they sell in the AGD store, look at the price of the E-Mag for example... whoa! to say the least, hehe.

on pure cost to make something (no R&D cost--just labor, material, and energy to use machines) there is usually quite a large mark up by the time it hits consumers...85% would be a low estimate, IMHO

I used to under-charge for shipping... I couldn't do it anymore, I was taking to much a beating... But a lot of that had to do with the price of the items I was selling, only making a few dollars off of each sale, and then cutting some more off of that for shipping. I finally ended up ditching that whole idea, I now charge exactly what it costs me for shipping, as I find that the "fair" thing to do.
