Snyper - I LOVE IT! I got to try it out at a paintball shop - it's light as a feather, and feels really solid!

    Peace,

    Jacob

BTW - did you get my company name suggestions?

I was told that they are made from the dye bodies that had flaws and couldnt be used without modifications. Psyco bought them and milled out the bodies to work and threw together a gun. They are actually a knock off of a knock off. In this case you will get less then you pay for

I disagree that this marker is a POS - In fact, I loved it when I checked it out. It was light, great looking, and functioned beautifully. The trigger is easy to get used to, and the milling is phenomenal.

It's funny to see how much the price drops when it goes from DYE to Psycho Ballistics. Great product, though.

Any proof or sources to support this asertion? What defects made them unacceptable to DYE but acceptable to make lightnings?

I'm having to double check on this, but apparently this is the process.

                      They Tippmann-ize it!

By that I mean it's molded. Not milled. Like tippmann there are giant molds, you pour in the liquid metal and voila. Instant body.

Only they then drill/tap some holes and slap on the rest of the stuff. Tada. Instant cocker at a fraction of the cost. Since it takes everything cocker, not new-made stuff with different dimensions or holes. So if wanted to you could also put on a new trigger frame or front block assembly.

As for the people who say "It's a knock off" Yeah well guess what genius... the Cocker is a knock-off. Ever hear of Camille? Yeah didn't think so. Go back in your hole.

I'd extend that sentiment to those that are stupid enough to spend a fortune on other markers and can only say another one is bad because it's cheaper.

Smart consumers who are looking for PERFORMANCE over STYLE, and who aren't just slavishly following a brand name know that you can often get the same quality and performance at half the price. Often the only sacrifice is the loss of a brand name logo.

It's all as laughable as the stink raised by the taiwanese cockers (that can't be sold in the US). Lot's said cheap=garbage. The laughable thing is that the taiwanese cocker and one sold by WGP are identical. Both are made at the same factory, only one is sent to WGP in different boxes.

As I said "I WAS TOLD" Never said it was fact nor fiction. Just passing info about something that I heard not standing by it either way. Personally ive seen them a couple times and havent heard much good out of them. I own an orracle myself, as my Non-mag gun. The lightning dont look very high in quality when I saw it but never know.

So what do you get for $400 more?

If it's just because it's cheap, you're blowing hot air. Is there anything documented or provable about what is inferior?

Any numbers, measurements, proof to back up a statement of "less than a thrid (sic) of the quality!"?

Or is it simply a case of if you don't care about sparkle, shine, and a designer label, it's just as good?
