    Flatline reg and hydro problem

So, I go to the local dive shop and ask if they can hydro test paintball tanks. "Sure, sure."
How long's it going to take and what's the price? "Week and a half and $30."
I figure that's reasonable. That was a week ago today. I get a call from them today saying "Well I couldn't take your valve (the Flatline regulator) off. I tried the hoogawhatchie and the talkintos and i don't want to try anything to that might damage the regulator." Great, I thought.

Anyway, has anyone else ever tun into this problem? Is it that hard to take the FL regulator off (never tried myself because I'm not an airsmith. But before I take it anywhere else, and wait a week to be told they couldn't even start the testing, I'd like to know if this is common, rare, or is this guy just incompetent?

I just picked up my Flatline from hydro today. The dive shop didn't say they had any probs. Your shop is probally just ignorant.

The scuba shop that I brought mines to had a the same problem when they sent it in. I took it back, no charge since no hydro was done, and brought it to another scuba shop. After two week, they called back to tell me that it was done. I checked the testing facility receipt and found out that it was the same facility that the first dive shop sent it to.
