New X mag owner w/ ?

I am a new Xmag owner. I have never owned any type of mag. I would like your feedback to tell me:

What would be the best after market barrel system to put on it?

With the High pressure that it takes running on 850 to 900 psi,
what would be the best air system / preset tank?

Any after market parts that I might want to look at?

or does anyone have any good advise that you could give me. I have owned Angels to Autocockers and I am open to anything that you could give me.

the best aftermarket barrel is the scepter

the best hpa tank / setup would be the flatline

no need for aftermarket parts .. maybe some custom grips but the x is perfect outta the box

if you want a kit then a scepter, single barrel cp's are good for the price you can get a boomy, or AA are good

you can buy a crossfire HP tank with an output of 850 psi, they are quality tanks, if you want an adjustable get a flatline or something along those lines

a barrel, a nice tank and a nice hopper, that's all you really need

Crossfire Preset tanks are crazy awesome...very consistent flow.

I would agree, get yourself a scepter and you will be pleased.

As far as aftermarket, as everyone has said...the X is perfect out of the box....UNLESS it doesnt have 3.2 software. This is a $20 upgrade that will drastically improve BPS and has some other nifty tricks.

its 20 bux to send it in or meet some AGD techs at a show or a tourny and its free

Thats about right. It doesn't cost anything to reflash it. But it might cost you shipping to get it there and back. But thats dependent upon shipping methods and all. NOT a charge to do it. At an event it will not cost you anything.

I also reccomend the Crossfire preset for preset, you might also want to look into the Nitro Duck adjustable screw ins, they are nice

No after market parts - its pretty much perfect. Just a hopper, or warp feed if you want to look into that

Oh yes, the software, I heard it drastically improves BPS, so, you might wanna get that (v3.2)

I'm going to be the odd one out and strongly recommend the J&J Edge Kit. For the price and quality it's one of the best barrel systems out there. For a tank, definetly pick up an AGD Flatline. Or, if money is a problem, go for a nice Crossfire HP 45/45 or 68/45 tank(I use a 45/45 and absolutely love it). I don't think there are any aftermarket parts for X-mags but if there were, you wouldn't want to put any on unless it's made by AGD. As others mentioned, put a nice hopper on it and upgrade to the 3.2 software(if necessary) and you'll be all set to hit the field. Good luck and have fun.

i own the freak , scepter and the empire kit ... i would take the scepter over the empire anyday

If price is a concern, I would buy the J&J Edge kit. paintballdiscounters.com sells them for 114 and there super light. (not as many bore options as other kits, but J&J makes quality barrels that work awesome.) I have had 2 edge kits and i dont think i will ever buy any other barrel kit again.

for the tank i would buy an Armageddon. these are awesome tanks with a life time gaurentee and a really high output to keep up with your new mag. (factory direct, they just dropped their price down to 350, about the same as the flatline and maxflo)

as far as upgrades... i cant think of a single one. just enjoy what you have
