speed or 03 shocker?

i dunno about everyone else but the 03 shocker looks too much of a toy to me. it might work very well but i'd prefer a gun that doesnt look so cartoony.

I'd go with the speed

I'd go with the speed if I were you. Every 2k3 shocker that I've ever seen chopped like mad or had some other problem plus personally I like the speed trigger a lot better.

What? Have you ever felt one? If anything, the speed looks more like a toy than a shocker. The shocker is simple, fast, VERY small and light, and reliable. Go shoot one at your store, its ridiculous

I vote that you spend a little more and get a A4. The effiency of the shocker is about 800 shots off a full 68/45k, where as a speed or A4 can get around 1500. As for the shocker being reliable , with SP's Quality control you never know if your are going to get a marker or a lemon.

I am really doing this pool for a friend. He says the price range is the 800-900 market. and he says he don't need all the other stuff the a4 has. I tried to talk him in to it too. well that or a was viking

Tell him to buy a 2k2 Timmy for 900. No chopping problem to worry about like with the shocker, and better efficiency than the Angel has. Not to mention the clamshell grip frame owns all.

speed without a doubt. The shocker is nice....but the cap is low, it has terrible efficieny, and it feels crappy.

ok its starting to sound like the angel is the way to go but he has a halo and after looking in the angel form I see a lot of people talk about the angel halo problem. Why does the halo make the angel break so much paint?

A teammate of mine runs a Halo B on his speed with stock detents and has never had any problem related to that.

Because some Angels have a problem where the Halo feeds so "hard" that it'll push balls passed the detents.

I vote Speed. The Shocker is still having some weird little bugs, it's efficiency is terrible, and the ano rubs off like a temp tatoo (neither have good anos really, but the Shocker's is worse).

IMO, for $900 I'd look out for an LCD Matrix or maybe a Viking.

speeds have a 90* frame, nuff said. also, the new sensi on the speeds works much better, and allows it to shoots extremely fast. dont worry about the shocker, the speed has got everything you could possibly want, plus a couple other admenaties to keep you going.

If it were me I'd go for the shocker but make sure you get it with the eye, as without the eye you can out shoot the hopper with little or no problem (halo b)..as for air efficiency it's a shocker (but much more efficient than the older ones). My team mate has one and he loves it. shoots fast and straight...
As for the speed ...... well..... one of my team mates got a brand new one, and after two games the feed neck blew off.... ( middle of game chasing the hopper around the stadium/ angel field..... say no more).. The thread for the feed neck was substandard and the marker went straight back to wdp after the tournament and is still there... very unhappy camper as he had to borrow anothe marker for the rest of the tourney.
