AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Use another brand. The AGD gages are the unfortunate victims of keeping the cost down. Just be sure you get the LP output, and HP tank level in their correct places.
I was going to grab some other brands, but the AGD ones are actually smaller than even the micros. I had micro gauges on there before, but they didn't leave much room between themselves.
AGD guages fail way more than even the crappiest microguages, I've had the writing on the inside flake off and on a used flatline I bought there was moisture in them that never dried out.
I'd buy some micro's, as long as they fit you're in business. Boston Paintball sells PMI guages for 12 bucks each and they work far better than the flatline ones, and they should fit.
I have to admit, my gauges are flaking a bit as well and have some moisture that is always present. But they still work fine. When they stop, I will probably replace them with something else.
Pretty much anything else on the market BESIDES the FL gauges will work fine. I have a small box full of bad FL gauges. Keep in mind, micro-gauges are just an indicator. They aren't a gauge for accuracy. If you really want to know your pressures, get full-size ashcroft gauges. Air America sells ashcroft gauges with their name on them and they are a bit smaller than the ones you see on fill stations and such.
Originally posted by ntn4502 both mine have identical cracks as well, theyll be replaced as soon as I stop being lazy and send the reg in to be fixed
Actually they won't get replaced. AGD don't have any.
I canabilized my dynaflows gauges last night so I could tell what the hell my output pressure was.
