    Quick Question. Please Help.

    Thanks in advance.
    Do any of you know if the AKALMP Merlin Bodies will rust if not milled and annodized? I like just the plain silver color of it and I don't really want to anno it. If it will rust, I'm gonna have get my whole autococker annoed because its all chrome color right now.

      clear ano will leave it at the silver color you like and would protect it from rust.

          whats it made of?

          Aluminum = no rust
          Steel = rust

              I think it is SS. I'm not sure though. Today my friend told me he thought it was. If it isn't I'm screwed. Oh well, its not like its my mag or anything.

                  Raw aluminum will eventually oxidize and get a dirty/mottled appearance. A clear annodize will make it look silver and nice.

                      even SS can rust if you don't take care of it.
