    maxflow question.

    ok im picking up a new maxflow for xmas. i also have an old school maxflow. i want to know if i can use my old bottle on my new maxflow reg so i would have a 68 3k tank and a 68 45k tank.

    yeah threads will be same. Wont have a problem as long as you always keep the rep pressure at or above tank listed pressure. That way no mistakes can happen by fill station.

      I think he is referring to a 3000 PSI Maxflow bottle (the removable one). You would have to unscrew the valve from the 3000psi tank and mount it on the 4500 reg. You cannot quickswitch bottles with the 4500 like you could with the 3000.

              only use loctite on screw on regs..dont need it for max flows or airs
