    Evo2 feed neck cut????

    Im getting an evolution2 and im prob gonna have to cut the feed neck down because its sooo damn high. I was wondering if any of you guys have done it and does it effect the feeding (misfeed, doublefeed, chopping)
    Also how many mm did you guys cut off OR did you just do 1 full inch

    I haven't had any problem with mine. I cut a full inch out and now the battery door sits about 3/8" above the body of my mag.

      No problems here. Mine's been cut quite a bit.

        i cut mine down as far as i could and have had no effects.

                  Cutting will make it shorter, duh, so thats always a plus, but you do slow down the feeding rate by cutting it, but its minimal. I also belive that by cutting it you will have less of a chance to crack your feedneck, which is very, very, veeery common. Just watch Derder (Best paintball video, ever!) How to solve that problem?                     the cutoff wheel specifically.

                        hehe, i definately cut mine with a leatherman ! hey, those things are sharp! anyway, mine, like everyone elses, works just fine, and i also sanded it down, and it hasnt broken on me yet!

                          be careful not to put too much stress on the seam in the plastic right there. Mine was pretty rough to cut with a hacksaw, the plastic kept flexing at the seam. So what I had to do was cut half way through until I got to the seam, then flip it over and cut it through the other side.
                          I had to do a significant amount of sanding when I was done.

                            I did mine on a bench grinder.Just keep grinding till your where you want to be and when your done......all pretty.
