    agree

For once, I agree with Warped1. I think Jim sometimes generates so much hype and denial of other people's proof that he has even convinced himself whatever he says is truth and the way things really are. And with his own forum, he can be God which he'd looooove to be. So people there will be totally unprotected from his hype as I wouldn't be suprised if he banned anyone who opposed him, but we all know he now has no existence on open forums. Pretty crazy stuff. He's like one of those nutjob shut-ins you here about once in a while who have 50 cats that they try to convince that the aliens are coming so they must all wear metal bowls on their heads. Crazy indeed.

        aluminium

Hey, aluminium foil has been proven to work to stop all transmissions from entering your head and cure cancer as well, I don't have any evidence, tests, documentation, or such to prove it but I dare you to prove me wrong by producing evidence that my $50 Metal Bowl head-transmission protectors DOESN'T work as I claim, so go find an example of someone wearing my MBHTP helmet who was able to have their mind transmitted to by an alien and I'll explain what irrelevant circumstance is really the reason it didn't work and why you haven't really proven my product doesn't work and about how you're just a noob who loves being a forum troll and attacking all manufacturers' claims.

Furthermore, if you continue to promote your less expensive aluminium foil head protector that's nothing like mine but that you're selling for less than me because you don't include a 5000 percent markup, I'll make up an excuse about how you're infringing on my design and sue you into the ground or find some other way to make your life miserable so I can corner the market! Uh oh, libel, I better delete the post and hide in my own little forum where I can hype it up aaaaaaaaaaaall day!

...just a little parody about the PBall market right now and some of it's MVPs and their "love of the game." Please just take it as a humorous nonsense post I thought up after a long week in the world of computer consulting.

PS-I'm also patenting the idea of wearing anything on your head during paintball as I came up with the idea of an alumium hat 10 years ago, so all mask, bandana, do-rag, etc. manufacturers had better cease now or else you will be sued as well. Thank you

Jim has a way of making stupid people argue for him. If you look at PBN, you'll see a group of like 20 to 30 people in each forum that would probably take a bullet, or a flame for Jim. It's hilarious to watch him squirm though when someone who knows what they are talking about(and Jim knows it too) comes in and "regulates".

I'd say one of the things that happened were that he started getting shut down by people who called his bluff. The "WAS Bushy" thread in the PBN ICD forum was very interesting. He got caught in quite a few twists and turns. Basically, when you say things that use very technical sounding jargon to overwhelm the ignorant (in whatever particular subject), it turns very sour when someone who can interpret shows up. He was spewing quite a bit of technobabble and half truth, then some folks who knew what he was saying showed up and the party was over. You can't spin when you can't go over people's heads with things.

That and he got caught dissing on some other businesses (his competition), which is never good. That and he started commenting about some things that he couldn't know about their software. It got ugly.

What I find funny is that he always refers to himself as a marketing genious, and that it was always some grand plan. However, I don't know many people in business that would ever like to have their companies thought of like that. Some plan... As I've stated before, his business lingo needs work. So does some of his legal advice.

All in mho of course :)

And, again, I don't know that anyone ever really dissed on the product. That he is right about, it's very good. And to be honest, I don't know Jim, and he's probably a nice guy to deal with (in person). But he makes unsupported claims, and talks a big game without ever really showing anything. Then he insults and puffs himself up. It's hard to respect someone that does that. Honestly, I'd like to meet him, talk to him, and find out what he's really like when he's not behind a keyboard. Surely he wouldn't come across as so arrogant in person.

the difference is that AGD has a solid reputation and good designs and people who actually DO know what they're talking about see that AGD doesn't spew total bs. the only bs I see out of AGD is their own marketing, and every company does that. It's call promotion of the product. I only call it bs, b/c it isn't an objective and unbiased view. but still, when it comes down the bottom line, AGD is NOT making bs claims or making products that don't live up to it's bs claims. this is in direct opposition to what WAS has been doing.

The TurboRev is a replacement circuit board for the "Revolution" series hoppers made by Viewloader/Brass Eagle. This upgrade board increases the feed rate of the hopper by calculating the agitator motor speed, torque, and spin duration based on the time between balls passing through feed tube.
Aha, I'm sure he did extensive research on the science of impeller dynamics in the VL revolution .

The TurboRev circuit board uses the latest state-of-the-art microprocessor with artificial intelligence software.
Yes its very complicated software. In pseudo code it would look something like this.

                        If IR-beam not interrupted
                        Spin impeller
                        EndIf

As you can see, that complex software is above most of our heads .

Unlike the standard Viewloader circuitry, there is no startup delay on the first missing ball.
That problem only existed in the 2nd version of the revy. The original (9v) and Xboard revys don't have that problem.

The TurboRev board immediately activates the hopper's motor and starts feeding!
                        So does my 9v revy.

As the balls fall, the TurboRev's computer monitors the feed rate and adjusts the agitator motor's speed, torque, and spin duration to increase the feed rate to the maximum possible given the design of the Revolution hopper!
                        Sure it does.

I have no respect for any man that writes as much BS per page as this guy.

let truth be said, the swastica was too good for SP OR WAS

and it's ok to use a bad symbol to represent something bad, but it's NOT ok to use a bad symbol to represent something good.

And if your offended by the sight of someone useing a swastica to speak his mind about a company then you are in dire need of what I call "quite being such a stickler and fight a fight that will acomplish something"training.

Would you guys get the chips off the shoulders and back in the pringles can.

Invoking Nazi imagery lacks tact and is really against the decorum of a paintball forum.

Please, take the five seconds to either come up with a correct analogy or just explain the problem as-is.

If you really dislike the guy, don't work hard in his favor by giving him a "love to hate" reputation. I have a feeling he's of the personality type that tends towards big, flamboyant, and hilarious(for us) burnouts/flameouts. Maybe we'll see one soon!

(Personally, I think even one shot buffering shouldn't be allowed, but that's "progress," huh?)
