"Newbie" Alert!

Hello all. Im not a newbie, I have been playing paintball for a while now. I currently have a Spyder TL Plus (Forgive Me Tom!!) and I am currently looking for a 'gun with something more to offer. Im drciding between the Automag RT Pro, the Automag RT Center Feed, and the E-Mag. I do not play tournaments too often, same with speedball. I mostly stick to large outdoor games with 40+ people (I am the commander of our ROTC's Paintball Team). What gun would you recommend to me and why?

if i were u i would not get the RT center feed, because if u want to get a different barrel u have to send it somewhere to make it work.

That's not true, centerfeed mag barrels are available form quite a few places and for the same price as any mag barrel. Smart Parts, J&J, BOA and I think DYE all make centerfeed mag barrels.

As far as what gun to get. If you want to have an electronic gun and you have the coins to rub together then by all means get the E-mag.
If you want to stay mechanical then you can't go wrong with an RT Pro. I'd go with a centerfeed if you don't want to get a warp feed in the near future. I've had no problems at all with mine.

I really wouldn't reccomend using a site on any paintball gun. They're only used for looks, I mean I honestly never have time to use a site, and if I do, there are too many factors that would make it so that only 1 out of 50 balls even hit the mark (dirt in barrel, wind, bad balls, etc). Plus, only the RT Pro w/powerfeed would allow you to use a site with the shark rail, but... I'd still get the RT Pro PF if you plan on getting warp feed, or the CF if you don't. Personally, even if I never get a warp feed, I'll probably stick with PF just because I like the weight distribution.

They dont work for most people. I know how to use them on paintball guns and I know the limitations. The power feed on my TL is the same on the RT from what I can see. Plus Adco threw in a raised sight rail to add on top so it reaches above the feed.

Trust me, it works.

Anyhow, what would be the best setup to use in a woods game environment?

Skip the vert feed. RT Pro would work great for you. If you have extra cash, E-Mag is way too cool.

I was debating that, and while the features of the Automag are awsome, I just dont think that I will need the electronic features in a paintgun unless I mostly play tournies and such where speed overrules most tactics I use.

Well, if you arent that concerned with speed, you could always save a bit of money and buy a classic mag.
