    Mag for a backman?

I was wondering if a ULE mag with a X valve and an intelli would be suitable for a backman? I am used to electros, but i have always liked mags. I know they are really reliable but what about speed? Is a mag with an Xvalve and a intelli any different then a mag with a intelli and a classic valve? I know you can like sweetspot(is that what its called) a xvalve/retrovalve, in runaway(is runaway legal?), but what about for tourney play? Sorry for the somewhat newbish questions, ive never really known too much about mags.

Yes. That setup would be fine. You can shoot plenty fast with an intelli-framed xvalve mag. As for the sweetspot issue, sweetspotting is not allowed here. I don't know about your local fields. If you are unsure, just tap your bottom finger on the trigger and act like your walking it.

One of the fastest guns I have ever shot was a properly setup RTP with intelliframe.

that setup should work plenty good for a back player. i have a mag with classic valve(yeah, yeah) and an intelli and it couldn't work better for back. but, if i'm playin rec ball, and feel like movin up, it's plenty light and compact for a front player.

so yes it will keep up. once you get the feel of the trigger you will be fine.

I played back with my RT Classic with an Intelliframe and Warp. It kept up quite nice and I can rip it pretty darn fast! It was replaced by an X-Mag because well it's an X-Mag!!!!

The X-Valve is good, but the Level Ten is a must. I used to chop like crazy when I really started ripping! I then added a warp and it worked better, Level X and it is now perfect! It is still my back up marker!
