    SNAPP speed pods

I just ordered 5 'SNAPP' Speed pods from Doropaintball.com

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these?

    Heres the link

It looks like it may be a hassle. You have to look down and align the pod perfectly with the hopper edge before you push down. With the regular pod, you can still be looking forward and shooting while you reload. Looks like a cool concept though. Kind of like the old JT ones.

I had the JT ones but the adapter made the hopper so much bigger... thats the only reason I didn't like them.

they are made by app. ive seen and played around with them before. of the chachke loaders they are the best. you dont need a special collar like the jt speedpods. and you dont need to align anything...the pod has a ridge built into it. as long as your holding it right....hense the ridge to let you know what the right position is you just push it against the hopper lip opening the lid and dumping the contents.

I got a couple of these for free at IAO 2k2. Tried to get used to em, but never got the hang of it. I prefer my FatBoy pods. Neat concept, but it needs refinement.

i dont see why everyone seems to need a way to simplify the already simple process of reloading their hopper.
sure it is a cool idea but it doesnt make you load any faster, so what is the point. besides when you start adding buttons and stuff to open your pods it makes thing more complicated on the field which in turn can make the reloading process even slower.

                  Why not?

                  I dunno guys,

They don't seem all that much more expensive than any other pods. I like the fact that the tops snap shut by themselves. I dunno how many times I've dumped 20+ balls on the field cause there was more in my pod than I had room for in my hopper. You'll have to let us know how you like them. My guess is once you get used to them you'll never go back.

i got them and love them... after a game or 2 i was used to them... as someone said before.... the ridge on them tells you if you are holdin it facing the right direction... if all the ball wont fit it self closes... there is no hunting for a tab to open it.... all i do it press and slide up the lip of my hopper... when its in the right spot it opens and i got more paint... only problem i have is filling them.... unless there is someone that will let me borrow a speed loader to fill them... other then that they are great
