It was only handled by four total people. Me, Bunny, Dayspring and Tunaman. Well and now redone by I suspect Roman to fix the Selenoid issue. Thats it.

No the pictures make it look a little lighter. Its a deep blue. Very nice blue.

        Dang, hot color.

I also like the new x-valves, now that the placement issue has been fixed, the plain X is just sexy...

You know I hate to bring the sour grapes out ...but somebody had to do it.
Normally when anything is used it pretty much immediately becomes worth 3/4 to 1/2 its retail value. This is true and proven across any sales forum anywhere.
I tend to agree with the post above.100$ isn't squat when you are dealing with a used marker with past issues. It may be perfect , and handled with tender loving care by the 5 or so people that worked with it , but the point remains. It is used.It would be crazy to spend that little less for a used marker unless ,as has beed posted ,you just don't want to wait.....

                          Then don't buy it.

I will remind you that before it was returned there were several offers made on it to the previous owner of this amount of money being asked. Thats its value. What someone is willing to pay and thinks its worth.

Its never been in the field. Its worth easy what is being asked. In fact in my opinion its worth 1300 easy. Maybe 1350. I seen several used Solid color X Mags go for that price. And they were used in the field. The value of things dropping has nothing to do with some arbitrary number YOU wish to pull outa your rear end. It has to do with demand! And these are in demand. Even used. And especialy in a nice color one. Some used ones have sold for MORE than their original price in the recent past. This one lists new for around $1399 by the way. Plus shipping.

So if you do not like the price then go on to something else. Its not for you. Someone else will know the value. This is not a bargain basement item. Its a top of the line item in great demand in a particularly high demand color.

Also... Because I know who had it and what he did with it in the meantime. And I know he takes very good care of things. I do not consider something that has never been shot a ball through or out to a field a particularly used marker. Not in value at least. There are degree's of use. This one is the least degree of use I have ever seen. If handling them makes them used then every marker on every shop wall in the country is a used Marker. And they are not. Floor displays are of two types. Cheaper items that May get handeled a lot and sold at a discount as a floor display model. Or in the high end guns they are one of...will get handled but are NEVER discounted because they are not replaceable on the wall. This one is being called used because it went into the possession of an owner for a week. Which is fair assumption and I agree with that decision. But its been handled less than a floor display would have been. And that does not drop its value to 1/2 or 3/4. I have no idea where you get that. Its erroneous. Its contrived. It's just flat out wrong. No high end floor model will ever be discounted that much. Even when its last years model and been up there a year. Your figures are just plain unapplicable to this particular marker and its history.

Again that is the price and it's a reasonable price and it's a superb marker and color. The only thing it had done was switch the selenoid wires around. That was the issue with this one. And with several others. That would not devalue it in the least. In fact it was factory done so it would be preferable to having someone else do that.

Let me ask you this...whens the last time you saw an X mag sell for 3/4 to 1/2 of its regular price? A week old one in a particularly nice color? You haven't. And your numbers are way off. And you statement its proven across the board is incorrect. Because the resale values of this thing prove the opposite is true.

I agree with Phil. 3/4 to 1/2 would be the correct price, IF you could saunterinto any paintball shop and buy one. But, considering that people are waiting months for these things, $1250 to get it into your hot little hand is just fine.

Right on Phil, well said. Its true though, things may depreciate in value after the owner has aquired it, but not before. Its like a car, someone test drives it, or many people do...... that car is not sold at 1/2 price. Even a one week old used car wouldnt sell at 1/2 price.
