ACE First Look!!!

looks good, interesting approach to the ACE system. Different thus far from about every other ACE system out there. My curiousity is, when you break a ball, wont that render the eye system useless? Since the paint and gravity will flow down, then the eye cover will be covered in paint. just a concern... but the system looks good, i like how its all internal and nothing is exposed outside (like on the F5 and Imp)

If broken paint flaws the ACE at least it flaws it in the closed circuit position- you might risk a chop (no more than a non-ace marker) but you can still send rounds down range.

hehe at 13 bps, ace or no ace, eventually probility catches up and you break one....but yeah it would stick in the closed circut and would be just like a none ace equipted e-mag. I wanna know a price so i can start saving!! sorry for the spelling im dumb and lazy

hardrock, the gun does not fire if there is no ball in the breach. you won't chop at high speeds, it will just stop shooting until there is a ball in the breach.

what if you are shooting brittle paint, wont there be breaks?

An ACE prevents chopping, barrel brakes caused by brittle paint, or too tight of a barrel, are a different matter. But with those cases most of the paint will be blown down the barrel so it shouldn't effect the ACE.

Yes, but NOTHING is perfect. I dont believe in god, but the quote is good to point out (agd said it) "God could have invented a perfect regulator, but instead he invented penquins...."

So, say you DO chop, which is still possible, then the ACE is rendered useless. Something that sux, is that it regulates how fast he gun shoots, so if it malfunctions your gun may go extremely slow (saw it happen on a sandridge... 4bps $1500 electro lol)

Enter another great feature of the emag. Get a break, switch that puppy over to manual, dry fire a couple times (hope that gets rid of a lot of the paint), and switch her back.
