You can buy premade sheets and cut stuff out yourself.I make quite a bit off stuff that way.You just need to find the thickness to suit your project. It cuts and sands fairly easily with either a diamond or carbide tooling.

                        It's not that expensive.

RR you dont have a bad idea for the home craftsmen...just buy some carbon fiber material 8x11 for $70.00 a diamond tool for $25 to ? about 2 hours of your time...

thats not too bad...if ya do it right youll get 2 set of grips out of that...and as a bonus youll get carbon splinters on everything that is within 50 ft of where you making them(and dont wash your clothes with the rest of your laundry because your wife gets realy pissy when her crotch is itching from carbon fiber thats in her underwear)and dont forget about the carbon and epoxy dust that you'll be breathing if ya dont get cancer and die, youll stop blowing black crap out of your nose in about a week. (its hard to itch deep inside your nose too!)

My biased opinion...save yourself the trouble and time.

Buy them...if not from me, get them from someone else if ya can find someone that makes them...lmk if ya do!

                          GO KAWASAKI!!!

                            Spoken like a true salesman.

That's fine,I didn't mean to cut into anyones business.I've just made quite a few items out of CF myself.CF is actually a desirable and cool item in many other sports and activities ,and I found it pretty easy and in expensive to do your self. Many of the veneers I've done can actually be cut with with a good pair of shears and then just cleaned up.A diamond cutoff wheel will cut the thicker materials up to at least 1/2".That and a few sanding discs or drums will get you there(wear a filter/mask).

But,you can just buy many of those items,no one hear really likes to "Mod" stuff themselves anyway.
