i cant get my new ule on, do i need a new rail or just take the twist lock pin off from the old barrel setup

Yep, you need to punch the barrel rentention pin out of the frame.

Yep. The Twist Lock Assembly is in the way. You gotta drive that thing out of the rail. OUT EVIL TWIST LOCK! OUT!!!!
