    My Ti Longbow sparks like that. I suspect that it has to do with some dirt in the barrel. Ti is used as sparker plates in other things. I don't see how it could possibly be static electricity.

            how noticable is that, i was thinking bought getting a Ti boomy, but i got an ultralight instead.
            I really want to see a vid of these things

              It is pretty cool to see firsthand. It doesn't throw massive sparks, just a little 4 or 5 sparkers. Just enough to say "What the heck was that?"

                at my field, a guy with his matrix has a titanium longbow set and its one of the funniest things you'll ever see when you see him go and bunker someone with the guy too scared to shoot 'cause sparks are showering out of the barrel
