I have an original style Emag and the electronics seem to be shot. Rather than getting a standard board from AGD I was thinking of getting an Emagnum board. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to intall one of these. Anything cool in particular about it? Does it have full auto? Can it intellifeed my Warp like the stock board?

First, yes, it has all the original Gabriel-Chip programmable fire options: Semiauto, fullauto, programmable "burst" -anything from two to two hundred shots per 'burst'- AutoResponse and "Turbo" (two pulls gives three shots.) It's tourney-lockable in semiauto, also has programmable ROF, and has the capability of working the Warp as well.
However, it's not a "drop in" board. It's the Morlock board, of course, a "universal" controller designed originally to fit literally any electro. Because it was designed to be universal, it has to be custom installed and wired, then programmed.
The programming is easy- a series of trigger clicks to set your max ROF, dwell time, etc.
The wiring isn't so easy. If you are familiar with wiring small things and are good with a careful soldering iron, and can follow the included, detailed instructions, most people can do it quite well.
As of the first of the year, I now carry Morlocks in my Gear Store (though they're not listed yet- still working on the graphics.
) and I've offered installation on the boards for years. Please feel free to drop me an E-mail if you have any questions.

Re: Thinking of getting an Emagnum board
Is your stock board not working, or is it just not fast enough for you? If it's the latter, I can provide a proper "disposal" of the old board, when you get the EMagnum/Morlock (heck, I'll even pay you to "dispose" of it).Originally posted by Eagle

I currently own a Morlocked E-Mag and boy is it fast
Granted I don't know anyone else with 3.2 Software so I can't compare, but I DO know its fast enough to turn heads, and sputter my friends Egg in fullauto

My exsisting board isn't working. Everytime I energize it I get all kinds of wierd crap on the LCD, almost like Asian characters. I tried disconnecting the hall sensor, because I know my sensor is bad, but that had no effect. I tried installing the sensor from my brothers mag and I still have the same trouble.
So 2 questions? will I need a hall sensor from AGD for a Emagnum board or no? And what do you mean by 'proper disposal' Timmee?Die Screaming

No, like I said I tried removing the sensor, that should have negated the problem. I also tried removing the trigger altogether and screwing the magnet to all different positions, none of that worked.Die Screaming

it's got me boggled too, something if fubar with his board and it is not do to the hall. We tried replacing his hall with mine and i could see that it did in fact register a trigger cycle. So part of the board is working, but part is not.
and as for the emagnum board and hall sensor, you will still need a hall sensor for it.Comment

By proper "disposal" I mean that I'm looking for an E-Mag board for my project E-Mag (assuming that you'd be replacing it).Originally posted by Eagle
