faster rate of fire (in most cases) then a tippman .. umm easier to upgrade, looks cooler, lower profile then a tippman .. that is, off the top of my head

*edit* oh yeah, the lvl 10 is an anti-chop bolt that is a VERY cheap upgrade compared to other 'electronic' eyes .. if the bolt hits a paintball that is only 1/2 in the chamber then the bolt will just recock and fire again. No more sploooooooges

well automags along with cockers are top of the line mech's not saying tippmans are bad but if you like the feal of your tippman you may not like the mag feal right away as your goign to be going from about 40 inches of tank gun barrel down to about 20 lol well it was something like that for me... but yeah the level 10 is a bolt system when properly setup and tuned will make it so that its virtually impossible to chop a ball or break paint so what more can be said about that! mags stock look well meh at best and shoot alright but if your going to go mag i would suggest get the full ule rt and set that up and i promise you wont turn back as the x valve wich is capable of over 26 bps not cps but bps and with lvlx it could do that but honestly its not needed... and mags are a tank sure they can be heavy but i ment built to last the only problem i have ever truly had with my mag was scratches in the anno and tahts frommy stupidity they will work better and last longer then a tippman and are easier to mainttain and clean as you only take the calve out with one screw not the 7 or so screws then peices flying everywhere like a tippmann althoughi havent delt directly with AGD's customer service ihave heard its great but i honestly cant say for sure but i do know tippmann is great for customer service and they stand behind there products so basically after all my rambling and what not its all personal choice

I have been using an autococker for few yrs, and by the end of the day that marker was heavy. I just pickup a minimag marker and did a few upgrades on it. I just played with it on saturday and sunday..WOW.. what a diffence.
The marker is smaller and much lighter and has a faster trigger pull and shoots alot of paint quickly and staight.
With no problems. I will say, My hands and arms were not tried from playing with the marker all day long.
My advice to you is.. See if anyone is ueing one at the feild and asked them if you could shoot it a couple of times and see how you like it.
There is alot of players in San Diego area using the new
        A-5 markers.. I am impressed.
With the upgrades on them, They are sweet, Great on the wood fields, a little big for the speedball field, But they still use them.
You wont be sorry if you get a mag.. I'm not.

I just curious what Tournys are allowing you to play with an R/T Tippman. That's pretty unusual these days.

But,if your happy with the Tip,then there IS no reason to "upgrade" to Mag.Try one and then buy one if you like them and if not you shouldn't.

          Jay.

It's not as extreme as people say. Is it less than the reported case per 68/4500 that some guns get? Yes.

But I can throw an entire 1000+ rounds on one fill of a 72/4500.

yeah it's not THAT bad, I mean a Matrix is worse off than a Mag is untill they put in that new bolt. I get about 1500+ off my 88ci Max Flow when I get a 4500 fill.

Yeah, that's about right.I get ~800 shots on 68/3000.It's not to shabby. It'll get you through a game easily enough unless your playing back, then I'd go for a bigger tank.

Tune, as in adjust a carrier size once or twice and choose a spring to run on. (You can go even crazier by clipping springs and adjusting shims and what not.)

But it's a nice easy "drop in" kit.
