Ive always loved the look of the teardrop, though you should buy the one that you like best and one that will match the paint you use, the paint to barrel match is what will make either one a great barrel.Comment

All the barrels in that range (dyes, SPs, CPs, Lapcos, J&J, etc....) are gonna shoot about the same.....-Gig 'Em Ags!Comment

Both are very good barrels, accuracy is the same, so is the price range, the only difference is the loudness, and looks.
The Teardrop is alot quieter than the dye. :)Black Teflon E-Mag

With all that porting and large holes the Teardrop is gonna use a lot of air. But it is very quiet. I really like my Dye Aluminum, its good on air, very accurate, and looks cool. I would get a 12" and I like shorter barrels, but you need the effective lenght of about 8". Read the Tech Tips. And judge length accordingly. But go with the Dye.I have no Sig.
Good Traders

i love my tear drop, it shoots darts with Big Ball(medium bore). But ive heard thet the Dye Alum. is a good barrel too, so i would say try both if you can, and pick which ever you like best.Classic RT - RT02667
