Can some people that have bought markers around the $200 range give some positive and negative suggestions about the marker. My friend cant decide on which gun to buy.

Check out the new Icon LCD. I have the Icon E with is the previous electronic version (Mine had dipswitches the new one is obvoulsy... LCD) I have never had a problem with the gun...

I had a pmi 2k3 E-froce ext pro for about 6 months. Used it as a loaner and for scenario games that allowed FA. Not a bad marker for a blow back. Light trigger, decent battery life. Burst modes and Full auto. Ball pinching bolt, worked on HPA or CO2.
Only con of it was the vertical feed necks on the <2000 serial number markers were milled to thin and would snap off. Had that happen twice on me, other than that it was a pretty decent marker while I had it.Comment

well i have one gun that i bought new for $225 CAN,its called a morkel fokus.its not a fancy gun or anything but its relyable and he will not have any problems with it at all.its very light and good to snap shoot with.its extramly easy to take apart and clean good.like i said,its not fancy or flashy but it works very good and he will have no problems with it.Comment

you can probley find a decent mag for 200, which you can upgrade to be really awesome. or if he does not want to upgrade much, doesnt want to get nitro, but wants a rock solid marker. go tipmann m98. hands down one of the most reliable marker ever.

i got my mag for $200 used with a benchmark frame and progressive barrel. Mag would def be the way to go for 200!

Yea mags are awesome but the thing is that he doesant want a mag...lol...ive tried to talk him into them but he just wont oblige..so whateveri liiiike paintball.
