for the mid/top tape players: emag vs r/t

i am looking into getting eaither a ule r/t with ygrip or and emag. looking to get thoughts of tape players on which would be a better gun for that? i was thinking that the ygriped r/t would be better cause i get in tighter, but the emag has the rof, is it really to big of a differance? i have yet to play any turnies so i ask the turny players on here for your thoughts on what would be more important on the tape, rof, or ablity to stay tight?

depends what you are playing? Woodland, X-ball, Sup-Air seven man?

For example if you play X-ball you will be living behind your gun and its rate of fire. Your gun is a barracade and therefore E-mag would suit better.

If you play woods, just pick the comfiest gun and set up.

I would chose E-mag any day but with the RT custom package deal at AGD store I would re-consider depending on financial circumstances

to take a guess, your probably gonna be playing 3 or 5 man local tourneys. And for those ROF isnt that super important. I personally would go with the RT, bc its so tight. I shoot an angel ir3/ cocker playing snake.

Go RT. Once you get used to it you can crank out high rights of fire effortlessly, and the Y frame is a LOT more comfortable in a tight position than the angled .45 ( I know its not a 45 frame but its angled like one) style frame on the Emag. Also, you can get them for next to nothing at the AGD online store.

I would say Emag if you could get a Y or Z grip style frame for it though.

emag any time unless you like mech more it is what you like that counts and I think you should try both markers and see which one you like more
              GUNS:
              warp left mini vertibrate cocker
              tanks:

              and a 12 volt warp

I would deffinatly say Emag. I just got my emag (thanks jet-xino!) and i havnt shot it yet but i've seen jet shoot this thing and wow. Both guns are gonna be pretty good as far as weight is concerned. If you want you can get a few ULE parts and the emag is just as light as any other gun plus the added firepower. I would say if your ready to throw down enough money for an emag that would be the way to go.

Well if you already shot a Z-gripped mag, go with the RT Custom. The Y has a blade trigger and you can get the ULT Ultra Light Trigger On/Off factory installed. Thats should be plenty comfy, as tight as you can go, very light as well. You can hammer quite well on the Y for ROF with the ULT.
Send the rail to RogueFactor and for under $30 you can shave a few more onces off that rail. Maybe get his Roguegrip if you don't like the bike grip or dont need gas-through.
It would still be almost 1/2 the cost of a fully ULE Emag too.

                        ULE Trigger Pull Kit

This is the hot new mod from deep in the bowels of the AGD Tech Lab. Swap your old on/off assembly for this one and instantly take away 2 lbs from your trigger pull. The new pull is 15 oz. and is the lightest pull of any mechanical marker with this stroke distance. Best part is we measure this from the top trigger loop so the bottom is even lighter!!

                        So what problems are there?

A couple things to watch out for. This product should not be used in Emags or Xmags because it reduces the rate of fire (the lighter pull doesn't pull the solenoid out as fast). Aside from that, the ULE Trigger only gives optimum performance on guns with X-Valves. It will go into but not work well in a Classic or Minimag valve. The reactivity has been turned down in this upgrade so it's harder to bounce but EASIER to short stroke. You need good finger control to get the most out of this upgrade. For more info and conversations with other ULE Trigger owners go to www.automags.org. Here's one good thread about installation, tuning and operation.
                        >>>

Well the wow is a 2/3 lighter pull. It does take a bite out of the reactivity though. But with level 10 you'll just chuff if you shortstroke it. If you prefer a more reactive bouncy trigger than maybe you dont want it, or at least have a standard on/off as backup if its not as reliable for you.

I'd say the Y grip's pull is slightly lighter than the Z grip, but it may be due to the angle of the frame, or the fact that it has a blade trigger instead of groove. In any case, it provides a nice crisp pull with minimal slop. T

The ULE trigger is definately a "wow" mod. It's like the difference between squeezing one of those hand-strengthener exercise things and squeezing a clothespin. It does take a little getting used to and you will shortstroke a lot at first but after a while you will have no problem.
