If you piss off glenn palmer, then you've seriously screwed up. I post in threads he's active in all the time, and he's pretty easy going. I have yet to see him really pissed off. he might seem a little condescending, but that's not really what it is. he's just being firm about what he's saying b/c he knows what he's talking about. Glenn's a great guy, actually. but, yeah, don't get on his bad side. But from what I can tell is that if you're on his bad side, then you deserve to be there.

[edit] Yes, Blazer's are indeed mech heaven. I've shot the top end mech guns and NONE compare to the blazer. I mean the others, such as the class mags and RT mags, are real nice, and so are cockers, but the blazer . . . well, the blazer is simply the blazer. There's no other way to describe it. It sort of transcends the mech world while retaining it's mech purity .

heh, I have palmeritis big time, can you tell? [/edit]

I bought a benchy frame for my mag that had a pair of those on it. I dont think I will ever give them up. :)
I have also considered picking up a blazer. They appear to be very nice guns, although I have never seen one in person.

When I bought my blazer, I committed one of the greatest faux pax (ok, that's the last french you'll hear out of me *hurries away to wash the froggyness off his breath*) in the unwritten rules of pball gun buying: I bought before I ever touched one, let alone fired one.

HOWEVER, I DID do my research. I had decided that the autococker was the gun for me. I was pretty set in getting one, and was talking to one of the POG gun whores about it. He said, "Well, why do you want an autococker?" I told him why: the feel of how it shot, the accuracy of the shot, etc. Basically, all performance reasons. He said, "Well, why not a blazer then?" And that got me thinking. I then did heavy research on both, looking up info, and asking a TON of questions, and I mean a TON! Then I settled down to save my money. I picked out what I wanted on my blazer, and emailed PPS about how much it would cost. I got a cost back, wrote it down, and began saving up for that. I also kept my eyes open on the net for a good blazer.

Around late July, a sweet, sweet deal popped up. A blazer with EVERYTHING I wanted came up for sale. I emailed the guy, and we worked out a deal where I ended up getting even MORE gear for only $100 more (and I got WAY WAY over $100 worth of extra gear for that extra $100). It was with blazer included, and we made the deal, and I sent him the money I had saved all summer. Got my blazer when I got to school for the Fall Semester, and I've never looked back.

If you can't try before you buy, the do your research, and do ALOT of it. Ask questions from current owners about their setups, read what PPS has to say, ask PPS questions, post questions in the POG, etc., etc. All of us in the POG are GLAD to help. Being an informed consumer is important, so we support that.

If you can also try before you buy, I still recommend you do all that research, but do it as well as try it. Though I think doing that would kill your patience for waiting for a good deal if you did that, LOL .

If any of you have more questions for me, just email me, or IM me, or PM me, or keep posting questions here. I'll let a few of the other blazer owners on AO know about this thread so they can also answer questions if you have them.

After all, there's nothing we love to do more on pball forums, than to tell others about our markers .
