    Phantom Q: shots off a 12 gram @ 280fps?

I am asking this question because when I purchase my phantom I don't know if I want the 10rnd feed tube or a 15rn feed tube.

About how many good shots can you get from a 12 gram with a VSC phantom?

If it's only 15-18, I will get the 15 rnd feed tube and swap CO2's every reload.

If you get like 20-28, then I'll get a 10rnd feed tube and change air every 2 or 3 tubes of paint.

If you get 28-32, then I'll get the 15, and swap the CO2 after every 2 paint tubes.

I play with my pump against Semi-Auto markers. However, I might try a pump tourney. Are there rules in the SC tourney's restricting the 15rnd feed tube? Any info would be great!

My Phantoms aren't set up Stock class, but I get 30-32 good shots from a 12g.

At 280, your minimum should be somewhere over 30 shots.

It will vary sligthly depending on spring setup, hoses, and paint to barrel match.

If your running the VSC with hardline, with stock springs and are using a good paint to barrel match, look for 35 useable shots or so at about 280. Note, the last few shots may only be about 250.

i get between 35 and 42 shots, depending on the day. usually right in at 37 (full) shots and precisely 40 shots (that make it out the barrel).

Don't forget, efficiency on CO2 varies with temperature.
The warmer it is, the more shots you'll get off of it.

I haven't shot my Phantom for about 6 years so I can't tell you what to expect... : )
