    Warp Adaptor for VF bodies

Hi guys - here's a thought I had about making an adaptor for slugg bodies, such as the Dallara / Karta (since they are my favorite milled bodies!)

It would screw into the VF port like a high rise, and would have angel threadings; however, it would angle downwards, like the old warp bodies.

    Here's a picture

It's been discussed before, there's just doesn't seem to be enough warp users to justify it's production.RogueFactor makes a threaded neck that accepts the 90* warp adapter directly. That's about as close as it gets.

Rogue's adaptor doesn't address the issue of having that large, bulky 90* adaptor as well - basically it's just an adaptor for an adaptor. My adaptor would look basically like the old SS warp bodies, and would reduce the profile even better.

Here is the proof. Thanks to my trusty Microsoft Paint, I whipped up this comparison. I'm not bashing Rogue's adaptor, I'm proposing ideas for a new one.

Right now, Rogue's adapter is the best solution out there. Big bulky 90* adapter. Big deal, guess what? Your adapter isnt going to be much better unless you find a way to make a paintball smaller temorarially while you shove it through a pin sized hole so you have a smaller adapter. The size of the adapter is limited to the size of the paintball. If you made a screw in alumminum one, you would save about half an inch. Big deal, not worth the money. You can spend 10 on rogues adapter or 40 on this little gizmo. I would also like to note that the adapter has such a low profile (besides being so tall, I mean thickness) that it is pretty hard to hit, and I dont think 1/2 of an inch is going to make a hell of alot of difference.
Now, I'm not saying its a bad Idea, but it's impractible, if you can get what I'm saying...

Good arguement, but not completely true.
With RogueFactor's adapter, the 90* is completely flat against the body. You have a space, which is wrong.. and unfair.

Even with your hose drawing, you can see that the difference between the two wouldnt be enough to justify the price, IMO. However, you may feel different about saving 1/2" off the top of your gun, I am just pointing out things here.

I also don't think your feeding paint reliable at that much over 90*.

To me it looks like it wouldn't thread on either. The feed tube would hit the side of the body before the first turn.
