I hope you guys were nice when you explained that your markers were mags. I guess as a newer player if somebody laughed at me and made me feel stupid when I asked about their marker I might get the wrong idea about those kind of players. You know something all encompassing and misguided like, "Mag owners are snobs!"

Clearly that isn't the case. There are tons of really nice helpful folks on this forum that will help new folks out. However the kids at your local field don't know that (cause if they had known about AO they wouldn't have mistaken your mags for Shockers). Just something to think about.

I'm not sure why they did that. I really go either way. I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me. Besides, the marker weighs nothing. It you think that it looks bad now, you should have seen it with the "Y" frame.

That's okay...I had a kid come into the shop this weekend and ask me if my Adrenalin Angel was an Autococker...I refrained from pointing and laughing and explained that it was an Angel. There's alot of educating to be done here...perhaps if TK and Jon were to come down and spend a weekend at the shop with me, they could bring the word of the goodness that is AGD to the Gulf Coast of FL...

Heh, I'm glad to say that my marker has never been 'compared' to an '03 shocker. I think that the 03 shockers are plain ugly. I suppose that it's the Y grip on my mag that keeps people from asking such a silly question

I've had a field owner hold my older ULE mag w/other stuff and he was like "I like the feel of this shocker"...

I can see a resemblance in shape but there is no foregrip and the trigger frame looks completely different. untill seeing them side by side I would have never thought it looked anything like a shocker. It's really just the ule body that makes it look the same.

ARG, i get "what kinda gun is that you bad ace elite man?" all the time and i say its an Automag and point to the valve... mags have a kinda distinct deesign, "a tube" that owns you and a valve that says "X" "retro" "68classic" and such. ignorant.
