    WAS turbo warp board?

Well, it seems jim posting here any more for some reason. Was wondering if any of you knew the status of the turbo warp board he was working on.

here is a link to the locked thread that he was talking about the prototype

i know that jim was involved in some court case or something like that, so he started deleteing everyone of his posts on pbn, so i guess the mods locked all of his so he couldn't do the same thing here.

or atleast i think that is why

Which is sad... I feel like im the last full fledged supporter of WAS. Even people with WAS vikings are switching to morlocks.... I just dont see why.

              Squid,

You'll have to pardon me, I don't keep up with Viking news, but people are really switching from Equalizers to Morlocks???

I thought WAS turned the Viking into the FASTEST gun on the market... why would people want to ditch their WAS boards? Did they find anything wrong with the Equalizers like Bob Long did?

A lot less people are switching to Morlocks than some people think. Many keep the WAS. The WAS comes stock, and for like 70 bucks you can get eyes, eye covers, and wicked switch. On the other hand it is aorund 160 for a Morlock, eyes, and a switch. 40 more for covers on that.

I, personally, switched to a Morlock because something was wrong with my WAS board. It would go in and out of tourney mode, would not keep settings, and thought I had 255 different eye modes. It was complete BS. I got rid of it and my Morlock is probably being installed as we speak.

however, when my WAS worked it was F-A-S-T! And thats on an excal, I have never shot a Viking.

As far as I know nothing has been found wrong with the WAS boards. Its just the "cool thing" to get a morlock. You know, like its the "cool thing" to trash mags and to boycott Smart Parts.

not everybody is switching to morlock, but almost everybody on PBN is talking about it. Everybody there hates there WAS and I Dont know why, mine is awesome and my viking absolutely rips.

i know jim spits a lot of bs hype on his products....but i loved the 2.6 board i had in my old timmy.

heck, the equalizer practiacally made the timmy what it is today. why all the hating?

what problems did bob find with the WAS board? I must be behind the times in news....

i still want one of these warp boards if they are anything like the timmy board and if they can do all he says they will do.

                        uhh no It doesnt,
what the WAS board does do is replace an extremely crapy stock board. AKA had a mulititude of issues with. I think I explained this to you in response to a simliar post.

And like I said the lasttime shoot a viking with the old board and then another with a WAS. The difference is night and day..

Morlock is pretty sweet but I think it is about 99.9% more board than anyone needs..

Most of the threads regarding Jim Drew were deleted...

                              here's the skinny:

Terry59 (Bob's main tech) got a hold of a top of the line chrono which can detect your ROF above 20+

He tested it out many times and noticed that the WAS board was reporting a much higher ROF.

They did more tests and had same results: WAS board reported an inaccurate HIGH ROF (exaggerated).

Some also suspected the WAS board of adding shots when a high ROF was hit (like the old Shocker Turbo 4x4).

Big fiasco about suspecting Jim of shady programming...

I'll search for some threads... most were deleted when Jim bailed from the internet scene.

If I find anything, I'll post the links...
