Check out my Custom C&C drop i made for my cocker

hey AO!! check out my dye reflex with my custom C&Ced drop! i wrote the mill path myself and cut it out of stuff called G10. I can make them any length or drop height and was thinkin of sellin them... whatchyall think??

G10 is stronger than steel and lighter than aluminum, my dad owns a machine shop and i make drops and stuff outa scrap leftovers

It's a composite material, like fiberglass.

Hmmmmm, unique, I like it . I think you are on to something. How is the price compared to aluminum? Strength?

make it colored, and do some engraving/cosmetic milling and you could sell a million just because its "custom" and different. Trust me, I would buy it if you could make it black and REAL small.

you can paint G10, but not much else can be done to it.

K&P Customs made a few cocker bodies out of it, they are lighter than a stock class phantom... and that's light...

nice job, but i'm not understanding the real necessity of it. how well will the threads hold in it?

Well, I think it's pretty cool. No matter what, making your own drop is damned cool. What do you think of this design?

i can paint it any simple color... like black or red or blue, i did this one just as an example, i am planning one in the shape of a naked chick laying down, or some cool flames, i can get small pieces of g10 for free cuz they are just scrap and owuld be thrown away

the threads have held out well, i have played like six times, no bend or slip of any kind, this thing is solid

any chance of being able to make me a really tiny one? Can they be powdercoated? Lemme know, im def. interested.

I do not believe you could powder coat it. Because there is no metal to take a static charge to make the powder stick to it.

You can gell coat Fiberglass. So I would assume maybe this material? I not certain.
