    Martix or Viking or Emag

Ive have decided to make the leap to electro, but im not sure which one.

Ive narrowed it down the the Matrix, Viking, and Emag. I want realbility, consistancy, and overall opinion.

Looks come into play only if theres a tie or something, so that does not really matter.

Biased or not I appreciate your opinion.

Shoot all of them, no one on the Internet can tell you what will work best in your hands. Reliability and consistancy is pretty good on all of the guns (unless you get a DYE Trix), so I wouldn't worry about it.

WOW! What a choice! Hrm..this is a tough one. I love my Emags for sure...but I've also shot an NYX and a Viking...both sweet! Here would be my choices in order...

Viking - small, felt good in my hands, easy trigger, light, mega efficient on air.
Matrix - super fast, easy trigger, threw out strings first time on it without chops
Emag - compact, light if it's ULE'd, super reliable if you take care of it properly, also feels good in my hands.

Looks wise, EEK! They all look great. The DM4 and NYX are sweet. The featherlight Viking is also beautiful...and the ULE Emag/Xmag is quite the looker too!

      Question is...what's your budget?

Overmind, if I could get my hands on them all I would definetly shoot them. But since that isn't the case, this is my next best choice.

        Budget...Around 700 dollars.

So i was thinking Un milled viking, if at all possible, or whatever I could get out of the other two.

Emag would be my choice, but when you are spending alot of money on a gun you have to choose it otherwise you have an expensive gun that everyone but you seems to like.

Contact Ryknow here on AO, he seems to be your in-state Viking owner, plays at XPB I believe near Mobile. He uses Vikings and Mags.

The viking has a lot more durability than the matrix. Matrix is easier to rip on out-of-the-box, but in the end they are equally fast. And the viking has next-to-no kick. Not quite as smooth as the matrix, but not too far away either.

...and deal with all the "first model year" problems. I'd recommend waiting a year for the DM4 while they sort out all the issues.

Plus, is the DM4 truly superior to any other high-end gun? No. We've really hit a plateau. The top end guns (Viking, Matrix, DM4, Alias, Empire, etc etc) are so similar now that theres really no major differences. I've seen videos of all those guns shooting stupid-fast.

The only "first year" problem I've heard about the DM4 was a poor LPR, and that has already been fixed.
