I'm looking into making a t-shirt for my team. I was thinking about going to http://www.cafeshops.com and having them do it, but then I'd have to buy my own t-shirt. I'm not really into that one, but they make your shirts for free and they get a % of the $$$ you sell? I'm not sure. Anyone know any place where I could just give them what I want on the shirt, pay for it and send it to me? But then I'm like still buying my own shirt. Get me? I'm getting really confused now. Have you all ever made your own shirts or anything of the type? Thanks.

I posted a while back in Dealers Forum the lady that does the T shirts for me. She did the SE AO day T shirt and I posted several other examples of her work. She will do whatever you want on Shirts. Even if you want to supply the shirts. Go look that post up as I put her email addy in there. She does good work for resonable cost. All nice embroidery stuff. Good looking Paintball shirt sample in that thread she can custom and change for you if you like it. Or anything you want really.
Here is the thread with her email in it
Examples
Here is a custom Paintball splat shirt she did for Caleb for Christmas
And a custom one she did for me and my "Old Farts Scooter Club" She even made the scooter the color of mine and even made the frog have my color eyes!
And here is my Tech Shirt she did. Simple lettering is what I had on this one:
And the AO T shirts she did for our event:

just look in your yellow pages for a silk screening place or other type of uniform/sports clothing place. Teams, companies and more use these places to get their names on shirts or hats for employees or teammates or whoever.
i got a place right near me in chicago that does it for real good price. usually just got to look around or ask a sporting goods place they may know where sports teams get there stuff done and tell ya. also its pretty easy to make your own if you got a printer you just need those iron on decals.

or you could just get your own iron on paper and print out logos you want your self and sew them no your self... my team mate christy made these (the shirts a little dirty and the pic sucks but you get the idea)t33kyboy "So if a cat is dropped from 11 inches, it will most likely die."

Embroidery is the only thing won't do that in the long term. It's stitching. No paint or applicated stick on to peal.

How much is normal - I need to have a dozen or so shirts made up for my team, and frankly I think embroidery is a good idea, but am cocnerned about the cost"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not" - Dr Suess

It will be a lot more expensive but you may want to look into custom jerseys. Check out www.customsportsgear.com

12 shirts um 40$ the iron on paper maybe 10-15$ depending on the size of the log so about 50-60$ for 12 shirts easily
and they last a while unless your gonna where them like nonstop and washthem nonstop but its always best to get teh actual good stuff like phil pointed outt33kyboy "So if a cat is dropped from 11 inches, it will most likely die."

If you don't ask her you will never know. There is no cost for asking. Tell her what you want and I suspect you will be very suprised how reasonable it will be... ask!
