suicidal when you think about it vikings and timmies are practically the same cost i mean look you can get a tricked timmy for 1300 and a highlander with all the upgrades and a titanium longbow barrel for 1300 and it looks better than timmies imo. think of how much an unlilled timmy would cost if they made them and that puts things into perspective.
You better watch yo' self B!

maybe i gotta post the prices i'm purchasing these markers for.

Dragon Intimidator - $900 (comes with shocktech parts, j&j barrel kit, was 2.7, ace, matching drop, some other goodies i forgot to mention)

Viking - $850 (stock, and i would have to buy another drop and an asa)

Yea but the Timmy is used right? The 04 viking though a stock body is not "stock" and that is the price for a new one.

It isn't stock meaning it's still an upgraded marker. For that price you are getting the WAS board, eyes and norise.

It's not like a stock cocker compared to a E Blade cocker.

Also 6mo ago you would have an 03 Viking and you would be banging your head when the 04s came out.

Some things about each of these guns that I noticed when in a similar situation..

The timmy isn't built nearly as well as the viking. Before any spyder comparsions are made just look at the feednecks. How many broken timmy feednecks have you seen? In person I've seen four or five, dozens on the net. The viking feedneck threads are much stronger because the threading goes down deeper.

Also, the timmy has internal air lines, like a cocker, but inside the gripframe. Everything can leak pretty easily and it has caused problems for one of my team mates on the drexel team the first day he had his. The viking's airlines are all drilled into the solid aluminum block, which is then hard annodized to prevent scratching. Also, on the GZ's if you tighten the screws on the ASA too much they will dig into the board and cause problems.

On kick, the timmys I've shot have had some noticable kick, meanwhile after I lowered my viking's lpr to 72 there's barely any at all. Otherwise performance is pretty much the same, they're both really fast and have great anti chop eyes.

I play tournaments so I always look for reliability, and the vikings design really incorporates that. It's nice to know that your gun won't crap out on you in the middle of a game that could make the difference from going to finals and not going. I think the vikings a better gun, but it just depends on what matters to you most.
