    Halo making a weird noise.

Well the story goes something like this. I was chopping all day and my halo got so clogged up with paint and paint shells it barely spun. So being the master tech I am and never even taking the shells of my halo before I dug into it. I took off the shells then unplugged the wires and took the whole feed system out. Then i procedded(sp?) to take the little clear wheel offand clean stuff out from under it. I get all reassembled turn it on it spins fine but its makin some badger noise like "chunkity chunk chunky chunk". Well to get to the point I heard something about preloading the spring or something and i wanted to know if thats what wrong. Also is there any kind of online manual I can download?O almost forgot its just a plain ole Halo B.

Sounds like thats your problem you need to retension the spring before you put the drive cone back on. Go to OPPs site and read the directions for installing a rip drive, it has a pretty good section on putting the drive assembly back together.
