    mini mag or classic ?

    hey, can any one tell me if this is a mini mag or classic and how can you tell ?

    its a classic because the minimag bodies have slots cut into them at the front.

        yeah...so obviously the only real way to tell is to look at the valve. you cannot just look at the body..hell, I have an emag body on my minimag. The valve will state "classic" or "minimag." However, if it is an rt/emag/x, who knows what gun it was to begin with. I suppose you could look at the rail...I believe the minimag rails come pre-drilled for a vert asa adapter?

            I already answered this in Tech forum. Its a Classic Standard feed body is what it is. In that post you asked specificaly about the body only. But I also went into the valve as well in my answer. But this is a duplicate post from that one. You got your answer already in that thread. Complete with pictures I posted for you. Its still up in that forum. So go there for your answer or any follow up questions you may have.

            No double posting though. So see that thread.
