Its an LPR. Smart Parts evolution X lpr to be exact. Ditch it for an SCM or a micro rock if you want the best, but otherwise nice gun.

No, its a Belsale lpr, SP is only a distributor of Belsales's products. Its actually a good lpr, really no need to change it. If insist getting a new ram, get a Palmers rock. The AKA scm lpr does nothing that other lpr can't do and it cost way too much.

Thanks for the enlightenment, I wasnt aware that SP distributed belsales.

No doubt its good, im just saying if he wants better or wants to replace it just for the heck of it, go for an SCM or micro rock.

ive heard some bad things about the SCM spiking to dangerous pressures. Go with the microrock or a better idea: keep what u have.

The SCM's had a recall to correct a bad reg pin...a teammate just got his back from AKA to fix his...I'm sure I'll hear about it if it's still screwing up...

If im not mistaken, Belsales basically takes a good old wgp sledgehammer LPR and adds a twister cap to it. I know they used to sell the cap seperately as an upgrade. Either way stock wgp regs are actually decent, and maybe the new evo's are different, anyone who knows is welcome to chime in.

PS- i have an SCM on both my NYX and my viking and havent had any spiking problems.

That's precisely what it is: It's a nickel "Sledgehammer" (the stock 'Cocker and STO LPR) with a Belsales-made "Twister" cap.

Belsales gets some of their parts direct from WGP (bodies, valves, some pneumatics) they mod 'em, and some are sent back to the US as Belsales parts and labelled as Smart Parts parts. (Since SP has been a Belsales distro and importer for a decade or more- a lot of SP's first products in the early 90s, other than barrels, were in fact relabelled Belsales and Marksmann parts- most notably their splash-anno 'Mag kits. But I digress.)

                Doc.
