    The Perfect Tournament

    Its a simple question.

Hypothetical situation: You're on your way to the perfect paintball tournament. What do you expect when you get there? Doesn't matter if its pro or a backyard shin-dig at your cousin's wife's brother's barn.

WHAT characteristics in a tournament would qualify it as being "perfect?"

ok... atmosphere is huge everyone needs to be having a good time. ultimate airball bunkers, i dont like the tubes running between bunkers cus you have to worry about tripping on that. good reffing like atlest 10 refs a field.
i like to to move alot so the fields should have a ton of bunkers set up on them. and good competition no sandbaggers. so that at the begining of the day it is anybodys tournament.

the perfect tournament is just a fun tournament to me.
Just enjoyable games, hanging out with friends from all over the state, food, water, and perhaps placing somewhat well as well

Any day of paintball is a good day

Several large, clean ultimate airball fields; Sunny day (somewhere in the mid 60s), green fresh cut grass. 7 man teams, sportsmanship rules, strict refs, strict trigger bounce rules, and of course nice prizes.

Every tourny Ive ever been too/participated in, there has always been the problem of bordem. Mostly with refs. At the start of the day, they are ready to go and enjoy themselves, however during the last few games, they lose their laid back spirit and just want to get things over with.

                  That needs to change

                  Also good spectator areas.

2 beautiful fields to play on oen hyper, one air, with PLENTY of bunkers

a day just chillin with all ym friends and like all Nj players. I'd like it mostly just to have a good time and have fun. Just like byop and just bring in like 10 dollars between 8 teams, winner take all.

It would have to be for me atleast.
It would have to be a stadium event like the Rotorua and Hamilton events here in NZ.
Awesome reffin. Awesome fields. BBQ's and drinks spread throughout the spectator areas for anyone to eat/drink.
No cheating of any form from players.
And lastly a players party where EVERY players gets sumthing worthwhile as a prize. Oh and lasts all night/mourning too.

                        Cheers

As a player: Low entry, affordable fpo, good attitudes (both players and refs), and organized scheduling with lots of games on good grass fields.

As an organizer: Lots of teams (with good attitudes and not cheating problems), perfect scheduling, free food for us refs, a harder working staff... etc.

Ours almost went this way yesterday, a few mistakes but for a small time organization we do well.

                            1. Refs - good quality reffing, enough refs
                            2. Time - tourney starts on time, matches are constant and flowing
                            3. paint - quality and prices

There r the 3 things I most complain about and hear complaints about.

Entry fee is based on prizes.
