I just checked my tanks gauge and it read 0 psi, does air leak out of the tanks after so long? I haven't played for a few months so does that have something to do with it? Last time I used it I put 2800 psi back into it.

yar my tank appears also to leak ... i filled it full (3000 PSI) before leaving my last time PBalling, and its dropped a very large ammount down even in just a couple days... ( not sure on exact ammount its dropped, and dont feel like checking at moment, but its at least 500 PSI )<<90 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot>>

Re: Do Nitro tanks leak out air?
Ultimately I would say no.Originally posted by Automag88

But I've never let one sit with air for that long.Logic Paintball Forums

Yep, it takes days (or even weeks) for the pressure to drop a significant amount.Originally posted by p8ntball1016
If youre using an all day air pass when you play then it really doesnt matter.

I had a centerflag 68/45 and when I first got it, I put a nipple cover on and unscrewed the nipple to get it on. This took the teflon tape on. I got the tank filled and it dropped all 3000 psi I had left in it in about 2 days. Try putting teflon tape on the nipple or submerge it in water (with air in it) to see where the leak is coming from and try and seal it up. Once I got teflon tape on the threads of the nipple, it held 4500 psi for about 2 weeks straight without leaking a bit.Graphite Fly 4

don't forget that as a tank cools down after filling it, the pressure will go down a bit...
